Candidate for the Dark Horse in This World Cup

In this June, 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil is going to begin. In 2006 FIFA World Cup, Uruguay couldn’t go into the tournament, but surprisingly advanced to the semifinals of 2010 FIFA World Cup and competed with the Netherlands. Then, in this year, there are three countries which might be a dark horse like Uruguay.

First of all, Belgium is likely to be the prime candidate. The country has many excellent players; Almost all of the team members belong to famous clubs like Chelsea, Manchester City, Bayern Munchen and so on. For example, Eden Hazard, who plays in Chelsea, is a brilliant player. He has a great sense of dribble, shoot and pass. Moreover, he is still 23 years old, so he has still a lot of time to improve his ability. Another player is Vincent Kompany. He plays an important role in Manchester City. He has marvelous leadership; therefore if he shows his abilities, Belgium will win through the cup.

Another country, Colombia may surprise a lot of people. The team also consists of many strong players, and particularly Radamel Falcao is an ace of the team. However, he was seriously injured this January, so he was not selected as a member, but their offensive unit led by Jackson Martinez, Juan Cuadrado, James Rodriguez and so on is solid. Maritnez is the leading scorer of the 2012-13 and 2013-14 Primeira Liga. Juan Cuadrado is very fast and can dribble with speed. James Rodriguez is called the successor to Valderrama who is the legendary player of Colombia. For that reason, the country will be a big threat with their members.

Last country is Ivory Coast. It does not only have good players, but also has warm climate. Climate of the country is important, because if there is a difference in climate between participating nations and the host country, the players from having different climate may not be able to play football as they play in their home. Ivory Coast has a similar climate to Brazil and it will be a big advantage to them.

These are the reasons why the three countries are expected to impress the viewers . It is recommended to watch matches while keeping these teams in mind.

まず初めに、ベルギーが最有力候補になりそうだ。ベルギーは優秀な選手を多くそろえている。ほとんどの選手がチェルシー、マンチェスター・シティ、バイエルン・ミュンヘンといった有名なクラブに所属している。例えば、チェルシーでプレーしているエデン・アザールはすばらしい選手だ。彼のドリブル、シュート、パスのセンスは抜きん出ている。何より、彼はまだ23歳で自分を磨く時間がたくさん残されている。もう一人挙げるとすると、ヴィンセント・コンパニだ。彼はマンチェスター・シティで重要な役割を果たしている。彼には優れたリーダーシップがある。したがって、彼がその手腕を発揮すれば、ベルギーは今大会で躍進することができるだろう。

　コロンビアもまた多くの人々を驚かせるかもしれない。この国も多くの優れた選手で構成されており、中でもラダメル・ファルカオはチームのエースだ。しかし、今年の1月に深刻な怪我を負い、今回のメンバーに選出されなかった。それでも、ジャクソン・マルティネス、ファン・クアドラード、ハメス・ロドリゲスといった選手から成るコロンビアの攻撃陣は屈強だ。マルティネスは2012-13、2013-14のプリメイラ・リーグの両シーズンで得点王だ。クアドラードはスピードがあり、そのスピードを維持してドリブルすることができる。ロドリゲスはコロンビアの伝説の選手であるバルデラマの後継者と言われているほどの選手だ。このことから、これらの選手をもったコロンビアは大きな脅威となるだろう。

　最後の国はコートジボワールだ。良い選手がチームにいるだけではなく、暖かい気候の国だ。国の気候というのは重要だ。というのも、もし参加国と開催国戸の間に気候の変化があると、選手は普段通りにプレーすることができなくなる恐れがある。コートジボワールはブラジルと似たような気候であるため、そのような心配は少なく、そのことは他の国よりも有利に働くだろう。

　これらが、先ほど紹介した3カ国が私たちに印象づけるであろう理由だ。これらの国を心にとめて観戦することをおすすめする。
